Project Manager I/Estimator
Julian Bednorz is a seasoned Construction Project Manager and Estimator with more than 13 years of experience overseeing residential, commercial, and HOA reconstruction projects throughout Southern California. Holding a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California (USC), Julian brings a rare combination of architectural insight and field leadership—bridging the gap between design intent and real-world construction execution.
Julian’s expertise spans the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction planning, cost estimating, and value engineering through field supervision, QA/QC, and project closeout. He has successfully led major scopes involving waterproofing systems, balcony rebuilds, structural repairs, wood framing, painting, and roofing, with a particular focus on SB-326 and SB-721 compliance. His meticulous approach ensures every project aligns with code requirements, safety standards, and client expectations while maintaining cost efficiency and schedule integrity.
Known for his technical precision, problem-solving ability, and calm leadership, Julian excels in coordinating with architects, engineers, and property managers to resolve challenges before they impact production. His background allows him to review and redline architectural and structural drawings to identify constructability issues, scope gaps, and cost-saving opportunities early in the process.
As a leader, Julian is deeply committed to collaboration and communication. He works closely with field superintendents, subcontractors, and consultants to deliver projects marked by quality craftsmanship, transparency, and accountability. He’s also adept at mentoring junior team members, fostering a culture of professionalism, ownership, and continuous improvement within the Whitestone team.
Leveraging digital tools such as Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Project, Excel, and cloud-based collaboration platforms, Julian integrates technology into every phase of project delivery—streamlining documentation, estimating, and reporting. His disciplined yet adaptive approach reflects Whitestone’s commitment to safety, quality, and innovation in every project.
